- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 4 tsp granulated sugar
- 2 tsp all-purpose flour
- pinch of salt
- Preheat oven to 375 °F
- Grease a 3/4 cup ramekin with butter
- Melt butter and chocolate chips with a water bath / microwave
- Whisk egg and sugar in a bowl
- Fold chocolate mixture into egg/sugar mix
- Add flour and salt in and mix well
- Pour batter into ramekin till about 85% full
- Bake for 10-12 mins (longer if egg was not at room temperature)
- Let cake cool for 2-3 mins before overturning on plate
