- 2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1-1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter
- 1-1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbs plain greek yogurt
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside
- Brown butter over medium heat. Cool for a few minutes
- Mix butter & sugars together. Add eggs, vanilla and yogurt and mix till completely combined
- Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix on low till combined
- Add chocolate chips and mix together
- Cover bowl and chill dough for minimum 2 hours in fridge
- Preheat oven to 350 °F
- Measure approximately 1 1/2 tbs of dough to make 1 cookie
- Bake for 9-11 mins
- Cool cookies on sheet for at least 2 mins
- Sprinkle sea salt before serving
Notes:
If dough is too hard to mold, let thaw for 20-30mins
